What do we process?
Your contact details including your name, email address telephone number and postal address.
Company related data: This is information about the company you work for, your job title and may include information about previous employments.
Communication data: We collect and store your communication with us, and any such information provided within these means.
Sensitive data can only be collected and stored if it is shared with us and will only be used in the extent necessary.
Data processing in recruitments:
We keep information about applicants that are necessary for current or future open positions. This can include personal data gathered in the following ways:
- CVs, personal letters written material at the time of application like name, email, mobile phone number, address, gender, date of birth, personal websites, photos, currently employer, title, education, work experience, language skills, IT- skills, possible first date of employment, salary requests, documents relating to work permits or other.
Personal details can also be gathered from other sources such as:
- Recruitment interviews or other communication with the applicant (e.g. email)
- Social media for career purposes (e.g. LinkedIn)
- Personality and skill tests
- Shared databases with personal information provided by individual
How we gather your personal data:
Personal data is collected via two means:
Information you share with us: Most information we collect and store if shared directly with us by the data subject. Examples of when you share your data may include contacting us via email, through shared information data bases, participating in interviews, sharing your CV when applying to an open position or through given consent to store your personal data for future openings. You can always choose not to share your data with us, however, some personal data is needed to collaborate or carry out functions specific to Eir Ventures.
Information we collect about you: We may obtain personal data about you through your employer, external partners, external public sources (such as authorities or career focused social media) as well as through references that you have provided us with.
Purpose of processing and legal grounds:
Your information will be used to communicate and collaborate with you. Collaboration refers to Eir Ventures providing a service, information or otherwise with relevant individuals, company representatives or organizations. Your personal information will also be used to share requested information from us.
Eir Ventures Partners AB is obligated to follow Swedish law
Eir Ventures Denmark ApS is obligated to follow Danish Law.
This means that your data will be processed to the extent necessary to comply with and fulfil our responsibility towards these legislations.
Your data may be processed based on other grounds than that which is stated above. This will only be applicable after your consent has been given.
How we share your personal data:
Sometimes we need to share your personal data with other trusted individuals or partners. Your personal details shared with:
External consultants: Your data will, when appropriate, be shared with some of our trusted consultants. Access will only be granted to ensure that our consultants can carry out the job they have been entrusted with confidentiality.
Other parties: If you explicitly give consent, your data may be shared with other organizations, our partners and portfolio companies. The data shared will be restricted to those not employed by Eir Ventures to respect your privacy.

The retention time for your personal data:
We keep your data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. How long depends on the type of information and why we process it. We regularly review our need to keep data, while considering applicable legislation.
